Miss Nigeria 2026 Kicks Off with a Beauty & Fashion Fair — Celebrating Women “Made of More”
Hey Nigeria! 👋 Something really cool is happening on March. The Miss Nigeria 2026 season is officially on, and it kicked off with a Beauty and Fashion Fair at Eko Hotels & Suites, right at Plot 1415 Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. Mark your calendars: it’s happening on March 22–23, 2026.
But here’s the thing — it’s not just some weekend event. This fair is the official start of a year-long hunt for the next Miss Nigeria, all under the theme “She is Made of More.” And honestly, that says it all.
Miss Nigeria isn’t just about looking pretty. It’s been around for decades, shining a spotlight on women who lead, create, build, and inspire — in business, the arts, medicine, activism, you name it. This year’s campaign is all about celebrating women who go above and beyond, while inviting the next generation to step into their power.
And here’s the really fun part: the fair is happening alongside the Daily Times Young Designer of the Year competition — that’s the same platform that’s launched some of Nigeria’s biggest fashion names, like Folorunsho Alakija. So basically, beauty, fashion, and entrepreneurship are all in one place. Young designers, creative hustlers, and anyone curious about the future of Nigerian fashion and leadership will get a chance to be seen, discovered, and celebrated.
At the launch, Rita Dominic, the Miss Nigeria Organization Chair, said it best:
“We’re super excited to kick off Miss Nigeria 2026 with this Beauty and Fashion Fair. This isn’t just about fashion or beauty — it’s about celebrating the strength, resilience, and endless potential of Nigerians. With the ‘She is Made of More’ campaign, and the follow-up ‘Nigerians are Made of More’ campaign, we’re not just crowning a queen — we’re empowering a generation of leaders who will shape the future.”
Miss Nigeria has come a long way from just crowns and sashes. It’s a space that celebrates culture, heritage, and values, while giving young women the chance to grow, shine, and become changemakers.
The Beauty and Fashion Fair keeps that vibe alive. Imagine discovering new fashion brands, connecting with people in the industry, and soaking in stories of ambition, creativity, and purpose — all under one roof.
So, whether you’re a designer with dreams, an aspiring queen, or just someone who wants to see what’s up in Nigerian fashion and leadership, this is where the journey kicks off. 💃✨
